And at the heart of this experience lies the Ochre Room, a stunning gold-hued space that exudes sophistication and drama.
A Master Class in Opulence
Designed by the acclaimed Studio Munge, the studio behind multiple hospitality projects like Nobu Toronto and the Ritz-Carlton in South Beach, Ultra is a feast for the senses. With its rich, golden tones, octagonal shape, and extravagant chandelier, the room is anode to luxury and opulence. Plush sofas and ottomans provide comfort, while the room’s intricate design elements create an atmosphere that is both inviting and awe-inspiring. The secret—in part—lies beneath your feet.
Designing for a Unique Space
At Navigate Living, we believe that a rug is the foundation of a room’s design. For Ultra, we knew that the rug needed to be as striking and luxurious as the rest of the space. It had to complement the golden hues and plush seating to tie the entire room together.
The Rug: A Fusion of Elegance and Functionality
We're no strangers to the odd shape. Our custom rug for Ultra mirrors the room's octagonal walls, with subtle patterning to suit the interiors. The material is soft and luxurious underfoot, yet durable for the high foot traffic of a busy restaurant. The rug also plays a crucial role in the acoustics of the room, absorbing sound to keep intimate conversations and drinks flowing.
